The Courageous Leader is one who appreciates the value of trust and is unwilling to sacrifice trust with employees, customers, and/or investors to achieve higher results, financial or otherwise.
Courageous Leaders understand that they must be flexible in how they think about problems. They are willing and able to question their own assumptions and adjust their beliefs about the world if they find a more useful theory or practice. They are willing to read, research, and reflect upon their problems to optimize their learning.
